Well…after 8 years we’re finally getting married!

We know many of you are traveling from far, so we truly appreciate the effort you're making to join us for our big day. We've got a fun weekend planned, so be sure to check this site for all information - we'll be updating it as we go.

Accommodation for the wedding weekend (Friday & Saturday nights) will be fully covered - please let us know if you will not be staying both nights. Check Travel Guide tab for more info.

Wedding Weekend Itinerary/Dress Codes


Friday, October 23rd - Welcome drinks

Venue: Hualuxe Xi’an Tanghua Hotel 华邑唐华酒店

What: Welcome drinks to say hi, meet new friends and reconnect with old ones!

Saturday, October 24th - Tie the knot!

Venue: Yueji Space 樾己

Champagne Welcome: Drinks on arrival - mingle and meet new friends

Ceremony Start time: TBA

Dress Code: There is no official dress code for the wedding attire. We want people to wear whatever makes them most comfortable! That being said, we would love for guests to dress bold, in colors, be glam, even embrace the Chinese culture - anything that you’ve always wanted to wear but maybe never had the occasion!

Colors: Please avoid white and red. Black is ok :)

* Please note that the weather can be cool at night, between 8–12°C (46–54°F), so plan accordingly!

Visa Information

For our American friends and family:

Please visit the Chinese Embassy's official visa page for a breakdown of the visa requirements for travel to China. You can begin your application on the COVA site here. Please note that you can only apply for the visa within 90 days of entry. The application process typically takes around one week from the time of submission, but we recommend allowing extra time just in case of delays. The good news is the visa is valid for up to 10 years!

If you have any questions along the way, don’t hesitate to reach out - we’re happy to help!

For our international guests (non-U.S. citizens):

China now offers visa-free entry for up to 30 days for travelers from 43 countries. You can find the full list of eligible countries here. If you’re planning to stay longer than 30 days, please check the visa requirements specific to your country.

Shuttle Services


There will be shuttles operating to and from the wedding venue that is available for all guests.

The pick up and drop off location will be Hualuxe Xi’an Tanghua Hotel 华邑唐华酒店.
